Cherish Your Wishes !

Everytime a flight touches down, my friend has a secret ritual ; he tries to use the power of his mind to manoeuvre a perfect landing. He silently gives directions to an unknown force to steer the aircraft to the ground safely. This has become a habit , he thinks it makes no sense. But, it does. It makes sense. As a student , during my science practicals I thought of the unprepared practicals repeatedly.I used to fearfully think I might receive the unprepared one. And I did. Years later, when I got to know about positive wishing. I confidently wished for receiving the practicals I was perfect at. And guess what? I got what I wished for. Our life is what out thoughts make it. When we think negative constantly , we are giving negativity in the universe and that's what we will receive in return. When you wish fearfully, (to God or to any unknown source you believe in). For example, If you wish that you don't fall ill. You will, because you thought of the illness. As Rhonda Byrne says , the negative terms are neglected by the universe and the term illness is emphasised and reflected back. Why take chances? Wish for your good health confidenly and not fearfully. You might have heard of the saying, 'If you think you can do it , you can . And if you think you can't, you can't. You are right both the ways.' Remind yourself you can do it and you will be able to. This short story proves how our thoughts affect our lives. Experts said for years that the human body was simply not capable of a 4-minute mile . It wasn’t just dangerous; it was impossible. In the 1940’s, the mile record was pushed to 4:01, where it stood for nine years, as runners struggled with the idea that, just maybe, the experts had it right. Perhaps the human body had reached its limit. On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister broke the 4-minute barrier, running the distance in 3:59.4. When asked, Roger said that , he visualised himself a million times before actually doing it. His relentless visualization of the achievement created a sense of certainty in his mind and body. That's what our thoughts are capable of doing. Barely a year after Bannister’s accomplishment, someone else ran a mile in under 4 minutes. Then some more runners did. Now, it’s almost routine. When you become certain of something, when every part of you believes it, when you focus on it every single day, something “magical” happens that helps you do which was undoable. So , Cherish your wish , love what you wish. You are shaping your destiny right now, through your thoughts and actions. This power is one of the life's greatest privileges , only if you make use of it.
