What Is The Best Part of Your Day?

Think of life , like your 5 year old self would, because logic will get you from A to Z . But imagination holds the power to take you everywhere.

We all eat lies when our hearts are hungry.
It deserves a good diet , doesn't it?
So what if, instead of thinking about solving your whole life at a time, you think of the additional good things this time.
One at a time. Just let your pile of good things grow.

My sister once asked me , 'What is the best part of your day?'
You know, I hardly had an answer,  I thought of my night's sleep. That can't be the best part,  I'm hardly aware of it.
I realised our lives are so messy that we miss the good part because of our preoccupied mind.

Now I know,
I love that moment , when I'm on a long car ride , listening to music or reading a good book. And I completely zone out.
Or when I help a little girl write her name .
I forget all my troubles and everyone around me.
I'm focused on that one thing only.
I'm content and everything seems so peaceful.

You know , as a little girl, I imagined chocolate rains , candy castles or a staircase on the rainbow.
But today , comparison has stolen our joys.
All we can imagine is perfect skin and perfect scores.  We call our lives boring. The same old schedule, unless there's a grand party.
Why ?
No one else holds that answer for you,
You do.
Think about your day, today.
Couldn't it be better ?

Couldn't it be better if you woke up a little earlier,  looked at the peaceful sunrise,  did all the chores early and had a day of your own.

Couldnt it be better, if you did what was required instead of complaining and ruining your own mood?

Couldn't it be better , if you forgot about arguing and contributed , a little more?

It could have been better in a million more ways. And , No one else can do it for you as good as you can.

So, for once,  think of life like your 5 year old self would ,because logic will get you from A to Z . But imagination holds the power to take you everywhere.

We can be a little illogical for a while, amidst  our very serious exams or work.  can't we?

Cherish Your Wishes !

Everytime a flight touches down, my friend has a secret ritual ; he tries to use the power of his mind to manoeuvre a perfect landing. He silently gives directions to an unknown force to steer the aircraft to the ground safely. This has become a habit , he thinks it makes no sense. But, it does. It makes sense. As a student , during my science practicals I thought of the unprepared practicals repeatedly.I used to fearfully think I might receive the unprepared one. And I did. Years later, when I got to know about positive wishing. I confidently wished for receiving the practicals I was perfect at. And guess what? I got what I wished for. Our life is what out thoughts make it. When we think negative constantly , we are giving negativity in the universe and that's what we will receive in return. When you wish fearfully, (to God or to any unknown source you believe in). For example, If you wish that you don't fall ill. You will, because you thought of the illness. As Rhonda Byrne says , the negative terms are neglected by the universe and the term illness is emphasised and reflected back. Why take chances? Wish for your good health confidenly and not fearfully. You might have heard of the saying, 'If you think you can do it , you can . And if you think you can't, you can't. You are right both the ways.' Remind yourself you can do it and you will be able to. This short story proves how our thoughts affect our lives. Experts said for years that the human body was simply not capable of a 4-minute mile . It wasn’t just dangerous; it was impossible. In the 1940’s, the mile record was pushed to 4:01, where it stood for nine years, as runners struggled with the idea that, just maybe, the experts had it right. Perhaps the human body had reached its limit. On May 6, 1954, Roger Bannister broke the 4-minute barrier, running the distance in 3:59.4. When asked, Roger said that , he visualised himself a million times before actually doing it. His relentless visualization of the achievement created a sense of certainty in his mind and body. That's what our thoughts are capable of doing. Barely a year after Bannister’s accomplishment, someone else ran a mile in under 4 minutes. Then some more runners did. Now, it’s almost routine. When you become certain of something, when every part of you believes it, when you focus on it every single day, something “magical” happens that helps you do which was undoable. So , Cherish your wish , love what you wish. You are shaping your destiny right now, through your thoughts and actions. This power is one of the life's greatest privileges , only if you make use of it.

Why are you sad ?

The kids are sad , because they want to grow old , the grown ups are sad because they want their childhood back. The poors want to be rich , the rich want to be richer. Noone is satisfied. We are sad because of us, because of ourselves. We need to find the good in the bad, happy in the sad, the gain in the pain. And what makes us grateful not hateful. But that's the truth of life. You need to be patient with yourself, nothing blooms all year. Life is beautiful for some and a struggle for others. Why? Why are few people happy and others sad? Because they think so. Our thoughts become things. If you think something is possible. It is. And if you think its impossible. It is. There will be competitions in life , and you may want to defeat all others. Don't think of their defeat. Prepare to win like all others , but not with a thought to defeat others but to win. That's how you win over yourself. You have always thought negative. Try being positive, not just on the outside but on the inside. Now , are you thinking, of a person who was the cause of your sadness? You are giving them the permission to do that. How? You created a dependency. Detatch yourself but not by saying, ''I don't care'' or not by mentally cursing them. But by moving on , by forgiving and learning.

Jealous of Myself!

If i met my seven year old self today,
What would I tell her? What would
I say? Would I warn her for the future? Of bad things yet to come? Or would I leave her to be naive, To keep having fun? Because my seven year old self, Believed the world is a perfect place. Even though I've learnt so much more, years have passed since then. But, I would give up everything I have to view life through her eyes again. Yes, I envy myself, for the innocence I had , of never doubting people, never judging people. I'm jealous of her as she had no responsibilities, she smiled for no reason and believed she lived in a fairy tale. Being impractical and naive was so much more easy. Yes, jealous of myself.

Small Steps Everyday

Why make yourselves low? When you have all the power to make you the happiest? Remember , when you were a child and you looked at life in total wonder and awe? Life was magical and exciting and the smallest things were utterly thrilling. Your heart was full of joy and your imagination had no limits. The magic of life is real , and it is as real as you are. You may not see a tooth fairy , but you can see the things you've dreamed of for so long suddenly happening. SMALL STEPS EVERYDAY BUT BY BEING GRATEFUL. #the_magic

Pick me up!

Pick me up, Pick me up from the ground. Where it's just we safe and sound. Pick me up from all the evils. Up, where no one knows what's devil. Take me up to the heavens. Away from the colour of ravens. Save my soul whoever you are. It's just you who I gave my heart.

Do you believe in magic?

Do you believe in magic? Because, I do. There is magic, and I'm pretty sure you don't believe me. That's because magic is real b...
